Weight Loss ProcessMy weight loss process works over a 12 week period with one hourly session per week. During your sessions I will work with a number of techniques, including Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) and Jin Shin Jyutsu. I will also show you many self help techniques that you can use at home to accelerate your progress. During your first session you will receive a manual full of Jin Shin Jyutsu® self help techniques plus a detailed explanation of how to use Emotional Freedom Techniques for yourself at home, and a complimentary copy of Gary Craig's (EFT Founder) borrowing benefits DVDs (2 x DVD set). Low self esteem, lack of confidence and poor self image often accompany weight gain and together we'll work to turn this around, so you feel confident and can look in the mirror and like what you see. My approach is unique and radically different from conventional methods and the beauty of the techniques I use is that they don't require willpower. Willpower rarely works long term anyway and never gets to the core, underlying issues that are causing the weight gain. Over the course of the 12 weeks I will cover the following areas (some will be more relevant to you than others): Understanding & removing food obsessions and compulsionsI’ll help you to identify and release any food obsessions and compulsions. Reducing cravingsOne of the first things I'll show you is how to easily reduce cravings for food. With Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) it is astonishingly easy to do this: EFT provides two remarkable benefits for weight loss that sets it apart from other methods: Benefit #1 - EFT Can Reduce or Eliminate Your Immediate Cravings: Using EFT for 1 or 2 minutes can arrest your cravings in an estimated 80% of cases. Thus, you may no longer need to "eat when you are not hungry." This feature surprises most newcomers. Benefit #2 - EFT Can Reduce or Eliminate Emotional Overeating: If you have been using food to "tranquilize" years of past emotional hurts, then you may find EFT to be your best friend. EFT can bring you more emotional peace which, in turn, can lead to more sensible eating habits. So if you’ve got any of these going on, I’ll help you root them out and release them. Limiting beliefsMany people have limiting beliefs, which prevent their body-mind from losing weight. For example: “I don’t deserve to lose weight.” “No one in my family has even been at their ideal weight” “I will never get over my weight problem” “I am overweight because of my metabolism” “I am convinced I will regain the weight” I’ll help you identify any you might have and enable you to clear them. Clearing personal historyThere may be events in your past which have triggered overeating, such as accidents or relationship break ups etc. I'll help you to safely uncover and release anything of this nature. Guilt, shame and other negative emotionsGuilt, shame and other negative emotions can often be big contributing factors to being unable to lose weight and together we will address and clear any or all of these. Confidence & self esteemIt can be hard to feel confident and have healthy self esteem when you are unhappy about your weight – and I’ll work with you to boost these. Motivation - and how to maintain itSome people find it tough to maintain their motivation to lose weight, so I'll will show you how to use the techniques to make it increasingly easy. Future eventsWhat future situations might trigger the urge to overeat? I'll will help you uncover and release potential problems that could stop you maintaining your ideal weight in the future. Comfort zonesAre you afraid to leave your comfort zone? Very often people are afraid to leave their comfort zones due to fears of the unknown, such as: “Changing makes me anxious” “It’s easier to stay the way I am” I’ll help you identify any ‘comfort zone issues’ and clear them with you. Self imageWhat you see is what you get – my techniques will help you to see what you want to see, which, in time, will allow you to become what you see.
